FIA Ghent will be part of the Future Internet Conference Week, a series of events concerning different aspects of the Future Internet. It is organised by communities reaching out to different but related audiences that share common goals. These events back-to-back, the participants benefit from the ideas from the different parts.

In order to develop a comprehensive approach to the digital society and economy not only governments, but also industries and research communities need to join forces and interact to ensure maximum cross-fertilization. The Future Internet Conference Week will therefore offer a program of back-to-back conferences, meetings and workshops related to the different topics of interest to the organizations involved and their stakeholders.

Ultimately, FIRE aims to provide a framework in which European research on Future Internet can flourish and establish Europe as a key player in defining Future Internet concepts globally.
